I’m a musician and own a recording studio (The MeatLocker Recording Studio) new Pittsburgh PA. So my ears are very important to me! Last night for the first time I wore these earplugs at the Def Leppard- Journey Concert. I have to say I could actually hear the music better but lower and my ears feel totally fine today. I would definitely recommend these ear plugs! Jim H.
I love them I’ve been using foam, headphones even had custom ones made. These things are the best! I’m buying more for sure. I’ve played drums my whole life. I wish they were around 50 years ago when I started. I play everyday and they are a necessity.
Used them.at a concert recently with my girlfriend who had her own pair. They made it a comfortable experience and fit perfectly. I am a former audio engineer so I take care of my hearing.
I bought them for show work in a pit orchestra. I play trumpet professionally and needed a small amount of attenuation since I'm exposed to loud music on a daily basis. They are well made, love the design but not 100% sure they're what I need as I can still hear some "head noise" when I'm playing trumpet which I was trying to move away from. Admittingly I do need to test them more in this environment but have been using them in social settings and love them!
The Eargasm earplugs seem to work quite well. While I significant hearing loss in both ears I still need to wear ear protection at times. As a drummer it is necessary; as cymbals and snare drum noise can exceed 80 decibels and more. The plugs that reduce about 19% of noise are pretty close and I can get most of the good safe noise from the snare drum and cymbals. My niggling concern is the Tabs for gripping to get them out are a bit tricky to get a grip or find the tabs, depending which way around the plugs are inserted. My fingers are a bit large, Perhaps a slight change in the molding as a Ring Grip at the external ends that is easy to find and grip in the fingers; might be a helpful tip for the designers?? Thanks
